R Workshop Series - R Parallel
This 2-hour workshop will provide examples of how to parallelize your R workflow so that it uses multiple CPU cores on your laptop or on a supercomputer to speed up your code. If you have "foreach" loops or matrix operations in your R code, chances are you can parallelize it. Prerequisites: Minimal coding experience preferred, but open to all levels. Please have R, RStudio, and the tidyverse package installed on a personal laptop.
