The One Read program is an amazing collaboration between the University Libraries and the Boulder Library, and the current campus One Read book is “So You Want to Talk About Race?" by Ijeoma Oluo. Amy Moreno, Director of Inclusive Culture for the College of Engineering and Applied Science, will join us to continue the discussion of this insightful book. Participants will be engaging around a privilege exercise from the book (pp. 65-69), increasing intersectionality (pg. 77-82), and strategies when someone perpetuates a microaggression (pp. 173-178).

Inclusive Community of Practice (ICoP) meetings connect equity-minded folks around campus to develop inclusive practices and policies in the classroom through sharing and curation of existing and collaboratively innovated knowledge. Weekly 75-minute meetings provide opportunities where faculty, staff and students gather to network and talk openly about diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice. These conversations are meant to be brave spaces where faculty, staff and students can work on developing inclusive practices for the classroom.
