Digital accessibility is essential for ensuring that everyone is included in our digital campus environment. However, it can be hard to know where to focus your efforts when you’re just getting started. This presentation led by Laura Hamrick, Digital Accessibility Strategy and Outreach Manager, will cover a few key impactful accessibility practices that participants will be able to implement right away in their work.

Inclusive Community of Practice (ICoP) meetings connect equity-minded folks around campus to develop inclusive practices and policies in the classroom through sharing and curation of existing and collaboratively innovated knowledge. Weekly 75-minute meetings provide opportunities where faculty, staff and students gather to network and talk openly about diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice. These conversations are meant to be brave spaces where faculty, staff and students can work on developing inclusive practices for the classroom.
