Research creates millions of data and datasets. It's possible a specific dataset may already exist and reusing data may streamline and save time on research projects. This workshop will tour some of the data sources and databases to look for these data as well as how to evaluate, reuse, and cite existing data. Attendees are welcome to bring their current searches for data!

This 2-hour workshop will provide examples of how to parallelize your R workflow so that it uses multiple CPU cores on your laptop or on a supercomputer to speed up your code. If you have "foreach" loops or matrix operations in your R code, chances are you can parallelize it.

Prerequisites: Minimal coding experience preferred, but open to all levels. Please have R, RStudio, and the tidyverse package installed on a personal laptop.
