Versatile PhD
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, Career Services, the Graduate School, and CIRES have partnered to offer postdoctoral associates and fellows across campus access to Versatile PhD. Versatile PhD is the largest online community dedicated to non-academic and non-faculty careers for PhDs in the humanities, social sciences, and STEM. Learn about careers for PhDs, build your network, and communicate with people with various careers.
Josephine Jones Speaking Lab
The Speaking Lab is dedicated to improving the quality and impact of the College of Media, Communication and Information’s student voices, in the classroom and beyond. Students can schedule one-on-one consultations for any part of the presentation process—from generating a powerful thesis, crafting persuasive and ethical arguments to polishing your delivery. Our coaches are Communication PhD students who are eager to help you build confidence in your speaking presence.
