NIH is seeking feedback on implementing recommendations to enhance postdoctoral experiences and retain top talent. Please provide your input by October 23.

This three-day program in October offers fellows a unique opportunity to learn about Virginia Tech's culture, meet senior leaders and faculty and gain insights into life as a faculty member. Applications are due August 16.

Eligible CU Boulder postdocs and graduate students are invited to apply for the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship for Faculty Diversity. The program opens August 1 with applications due November 1.

Postdocs and their mentors drive the CU Boulder research enterprise, with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) set to honor Outstanding Postdocs and Mentors during National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW), September 16-20. Nominations are due by August 25.

This course is designed for international postdocs who want to improve oral communication skills for effective academic, professional and social interactions. Postdocs may consider auditing these courses at a reduced cost.

Postdocs interested in careers outside of academia are invited to a speaker series this fall. Each week this semester, a different speaker will share their career path and answer questions for those starting their professional journey. There is no need to register for the course – simply show up for the discussion! 

The relationships we have with family, friends, significant others, coworkers, neighbors and ourselves can be hard (and important). This workshop, from the Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), will teach techniques for maintaining healthy relationships with those around us and ourselves.

Join postdocs for food and fun at the monthly social at the Rayback Collective. The family-friendly event is sponsored by the Postdoctoral Association of Colorado Boulder (PAC Boulder).

Postdocs are invited to the third annual Innovation in Materials Symposium for presentations, discussions and collaboration opportunities. Postdocs may compete for a poster award by submitting by August 1. This free event will foster community and interdisciplinary cooperation among faculty, postdocs and industry.
