CU Diversity on Campus (DOC) is a one-day, multi-campus inclusive excellence training hosted by CU Boulder and funded by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement. Materials and activities will prepare postdocs to recognize and integrate inclusive excellence into their teaching and research environments. Participants will expand their awareness of diversity and inclusion issues in the classroom and learn to incorporate inclusive teaching and mentoring practices.

Looking to network with biotechnology companies, enjoy free food, and hear about exciting research? Come join representatives from 22 companies who will give a 10-min talk during the day and/or represent their company at a booth during a 2-hour networking session (12 – 2 pm). The companies will present their current research projects or new technologies in the different sessions: Biotechnologies, Diagnostics, Digital Health, Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals.

The Applied Math and Computer Science departments welcome postdocs across campus and disciplines to a workshop on Python, a programming language tool. Postdoc Gary Nave will discuss basic syntax, structure, and package management to provide a starting point for anyone hoping to use Python in their research or studies. International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) is providing a nature-centric yoga experience to revitalize the body and mind. During the session participants will be surrounded by exotic plants and beautiful butterflies. It’s a great way to meet other yoga and butterfly enthusiasts. Meet at C4C lobby then take RTD to the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster. Cost is $5. Don't forget your yoga mat!
