In this workshop, participants will discuss how to address some common challenges that international instructors face when teaching in the United States. We will offer strategies to improve communication, rapport, and instructional practices that can improve the educational experience for both students and instructors.

Climate change and COVID have scientists interacting with the public like never before. With scientists playing a dual role as advocates in legislation, public health, and awareness, questions may arise if advocacy is a role scientists should take on.
